The Learning Planner
The Learning Planner is an integral part of our Teaching and Learning at The Elmgreen School. Every student is issued with a Learning Planner at the start of each new academic year and should bring it to school each day. It is the custom in this school for students to have their Learning Planners out on their desks during every lesson.
The Learning Planner is used for recording homework set; noting any important messages; setting learning targets; building up a record of progress over the year; recording Vivo miles; accessing useful school information; understanding importance of 100% attendance and as a comprehensive resource for every subject area in terms of key words and other relevant information. It is also a means of communication between the family and their child’s Tutor.
Students should use the Learning Planner wisely and parents/carers are asked to sign the Learning Planner each week to show they are supporting their child’s learning journey at The Elmgreen School.
