It is important for students to have enrichment opportunities that can develop transferable skills as well as igniting passions which continue throughout their life. The activities we offer also help students to form a wider network of friendships and gain a sense of belonging and success outside of their academic curriculum.
At The Elmgreen School we have a range of afterschool and lunchtime activities for students from Year 7 to Year 13 ranging from sporting activities to the arts, from writing club to history intervention, students are actively encouraged to take part in at least one club a week from Year 7 onwards.
As well as clubs the school also believes in the importance of trips and visits in London and further afield. Throughout the year different departments organise academic visits to enhance the learning of their subject but at the end of the year World Week ensures that all students get the opportunity to take advantage of what our great city has to offer. World Week takes place over two days in the final week of the summer term and all students from Years 7-10 are off time table and given the choice of a range of different activities and visits in and around London.
