Elizabeth Taylor, a much loved and hugely talented actress has died at the age of 79 from heart failure in a hospital in Los Angeles. She married eight times and was a double Oscar winning actress. In later life she founded the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation.
Elizabeth was born on 27th February 1932 and survived at least 20 major operations, nearly died from Pneumonia and underwent surgery to remove a benign brain tumour. Actress Barbara Streisand paid tribute to her by saying “She was funny. She was generous. She made her life count.”
