The annual Open House event celebrates unusual and inspiring architecture and we're delighted that our fabulous school - has been included again this year. The beautiful meeting spaces in the school will be open for you to explore and there’ll be guided tours of the building including its fabulous sports facilities and roof garden.
There’ll be fun hands-on art activities for all ages, delicious refreshments on sale, an exhibition of students' art work and a chance to view the latest items pledged for the PPF Space for Art project. This is an exciting project run by the school’s foundation body - the PPF (Parent Promoters’ Foundation). Local artists and craftspeople have kindly agreed to loan their work to the school for a term, enriching the surroundings and complimenting the students' work on display. The Space for Art keeps changing each term, stimulating creativity in people of all ages using the building.
Make some art of your own, view the exhibitions, join a guided tour and enjoy some great home-made cake! For more details/to book a tour contact Kate Scrase on 07976 356268 or kscrase@the-elmgreen-school.org.uk
