Well over a hundred of our Year 11 familes and over 30 students from other schools attended our first ever Sixth Form Open Evening just before half term.
It was an incredibly successful evening that gave visitors a chance to hear about what the Sixth Form will be like and then talk in detail to subject leaders about course choices and the type of work they will do.
As a partner in SL6 we are able to offer a wide range of course combinations to suit every student. It was great to hear about the SL6 experience from two students from Bishop Thomas Grant School.
Families were also able to speak to representatives from Kings College London and an expert in Russell Group University entrance requirements.
There is real excitement in the school about the launch of the Sixth Form and it looks like the majority of our students are intending to stay on.
