Homework and Independent Learning Projects
Students in Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 are set a mixture of homework and Independent Learning Projects (ILPs).
English, Mathematics and Science set two tasks per week. MFL and PE set one task per week. Other subjects are on the rota shown below.
Teachers will set tasks to complete at home and will tell students what the week by week deadline is for each task as well as for the project as a whole. Students must bring the work to school on the week by week deadline.
Year 7 and Year 8 tasks should take around 30 minutes each, increasing to 40 minutes in Year 9.

This table shows you which subjects will be setting homework or ILPs each term. Subjects in bold change each term. Check the homework timetable to find out which subjects set homework on each day. If your subject is in bold text it means that your students are completing an ILP for that term.
