Art
In the Art Department, it is our aim to ensure that every student has access to a diverse range of materials, skills and techniques across the key stage so that they can develop as artists and realise their creative capabilities. They will work in two and three dimensions, exploring areas such as Ceramics, ICT, Printmaking and Painting, both on their own and in collaboration with others. Students will learn to appreciate value and give an opinion on artworks from their own and other cultures. Gallery visits and the study of contemporary artists, designers and craftspeople will enrich their understanding of the importance and significance of art and its role in the creative and cultural industries. The Art Department is in extremely spacious accommodation at the top of the building that benefits from natural light and views into London.
